Atom's friends from school had left the diner a little earlier. He had volunteered to hang onto to supplies for their group project, and took a while longer packing all the papers and supplies into his backpack before leaving.

As he headed out the door, the restaurant staff smiled and said good bye to him, thanking him as they did every customer who stopped in. He looked back to wave to them, not paying attention to who or what was on the sidewalk when he first stepped out from under the awning of the building.

"Really?" He's surprised by the answer. Not only because he hasn't met a goddess before, but he's not entirely sure if she means it literally when it's easy for him to believe that his sister would make a remark about being a 'goddess' to emphasize her supposed elegance.

She nodded. "I'm going for First Class, so that means I don't lie" much. "Got it?" she asked, hands on her hips.

His curiosity is peaked to the point of blazing on to another question, "Are you able to do magic like in the fables and legends?"

She blinked then beamed, nodding. "Uh huh." Well. Some. A little. She was still learning, okay?

"I'll tell you more about life as a robot if you tell me about what it's like to be a goddess," he suggests, giving a little grin. "We should talk over ice cream though."

"YES!" she said, happily. Ice cream, showing off, and getting to learn more about a really cool robot? Absolutely.

Sentaro would be so jealous if she saw the smile she was offering him now.

He leads the way around the side of the building where the bike rack is to the entrance and politely opens the door for her to enter before him. The robot working behind the counter greets them and offers to let them try samples if they want to taste test any flavors before deciding. Atom approaches the display case and looks over the flavor labels.

She beamed him a bright smile as she went past, and all but ran to the ice cream counter. "I'll take two scoops of each flavor please in the largest bowl you have. If there is any extra room, please fill it with the yummiest flavor you have!"

Atom was contemplating a sample request when she places her order. He turns to her, eyes wide in surprise. "You can eat that much in one sitting? I've never seen a sundae that big before!"

The robot behind the counter seems surprised too and asks just to be sure if she definitely wants two scoops of every single flavor.

"Uh huh. I'll order more once I see which flavors I like best!"

"Is this part of being a goddess? Do you eat a lot of ice cream every day?" Atom asks. He was trying to hold back his questions until they were seated but this is too hard to ignore. It will take a few minutes for the robot server to finish scooping her order too.

"I get lots of energy from ice cream so eat it as much as I can!" she said, happily. "For Urd it is alcohol. For big sister Belldandy it is tea." And sleep. Very much sleep. "I am so glad it is ice cream for me, it is so much yummier than tea or sake. Though big sister Bell does make the best tea ever!"

"So each goddess has a special charging food? That's so cool! I kind of wish robots could work that way instead of strictly drinking robo energy drinks to recharge," Atom muses. "Tea has been a good experience. And I haven't tried alcohol. But ice cream is definitely the best one!"

The robot behind the counter makes good progress on her order, which is already becoming a mountain in the biggest bowl the shop has available.

"Ice cream sure is! But I'd love to learn more about Robo energy drinks. I know Sigil hates her dependance on a charging station so she'd love it. Banpei would need some massive modifications to be able to drink them though... since his mouth is only painted on," she said, giving it serious thought now. "Would be nice to be able to fuel them up at the same time without blacking out the temple too... last time Urd made me make all sorts of useless machines because I made her miss her show..." she scowled at that, trying not to shudder. She hated making useless machines. Hate hate hated it.

"Since you made your robots entirely on your own, it might take some experimenting and a closer look at what kind of robot each energy drink solution is recommended for," Atom started explaining.

He was interrupted by the robot behind the counter heaving Skuld's order into its silver hands. "Where would you like to sit, Miss?" the robot asked, offering to bring the large bowl to her seat.

She nodded and was waiting to reply when the robot offered her the ice cream. "Anywhere," she said dreamily as she stared at it and tried not to drool.

The employee robot takes her bowl to one of the nearby small tables for two and sets it down carefully. It produces a spoon and a couple napkins just to be safe from its apron. "Would you like a glass of water as well?" the robot asks.

"Mmm.. how about a milkshake instead?" she asked, scrambling into her seat, eyeing the sundae hungrily.

"A milkshake?" the robot repeats in surprise. Atom watches with wide eyes. "Of course, Miss! What flavor would you like your milkshake to be?"

She considered. "Neapolitan, please." Because that meant she got three flavors of ice cream in a single shake!

"I'll have that out to you as soon as possible!" The robot hurries back behind the counter to scoop the neapolitan into a milk shake cup and asks Atom if he knows what he wants. Atom laughs, having forgotten to make a decision with the distraction of Skuld's order. He ends up asking for two scoops of the banana ice cream. The robot starts up the shake machine after pouring milk in and scoops Atom's much smaller order while it runs. When all is ready, the robot brings the two orders to the table, and Atom takes a seat across from Skuld.

"I've never had banana ice cream before," Atom muses before tasting his first spoonful.

"Oh! It is super good!" she told him, happily. It was ice cream, of course it was super good!

"The consistency is a little thicker than vanilla," he notes. "I use vanilla as a comparison since it's considered the base flavor by most people and was the first type I ever ate."

"I don't know why most people consider it basic or plain," she said. Vanilla is really yummy and hear on Earth in this dimension, it is expensive and hard to get."
